Kings will help hockey fans to weather the bad weather

Hockey fans who were stalled by rain-induced freeway and road closures and couldn’t use their tickets for the Kings’ Wednesday night game against the New York Rangers at Staples Center will have a remedy.

The Kings are offering to exchange unused tickets for tickets in the same price range (subject to availability) for one of two upcoming games: Dec. 29 vs. Columbus or Jan. 12 vs. Tampa Bay.

Helene Elliott was with the Los Angeles Times’ Sports department from 1989 to 2024, first as a staff writer and then, starting in 2006, as a columnist.
