Clippers’ release pre-season schedule

The Clippers will play six pre-season games at Staples Center, the team announced today.

Tickets are already on sale for a contest with Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel on Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m, with proceeds benefiting Migdal Ohr, the world’s largest orphanage, which shelters 7,000 children in Northern Israel. Tickets are not on sale yet for the other exhibition games.

The Clippers’ pre-season schedule starts Oct. 4 at Oracle Arena for a 6 p.m. match-up with the Golden State Warriors, followed by two home games against the Portland Trail Blazers (Oct. 9, 7:30 p.m.) and the Warriors (Oct. 12, 7:30 p.m.). The Clippers travel to AT&T Center for a 5:30 p.m. game against the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 14, before finishing the rest of the preseason at home.

Other home games include match-ups with the Utah Jazz (Oct. 17, 4:30 p.m.), Charlotte Bobcats or Lakers (Oct. 18, 4:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.) and the New Orleans Hornets (Oct. 23, 7:30 p.m.).
