Football: Brentwood flexes its muscle

Brentwood, 8-1 and ranked No. 3 in the East Valley Division behind St. Margaret’s and Maranatha, has opened a 24-0 halftime lead over unbeaten Maranatha.

Quarterback Josh Amster ran for two touchdowns and passed for another. Charlie James kicked a 40-yard field goal, his 14th of the season.
