Boys’ basketball: Valley Torah wins 6AA title

North Hollywood Valley Torah rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Bishop Diego, 58-51, to win the Southern Section Division 6AA championship.
Bishop Diego opened a 44-35 lead, but the Wolfpack went on a 23-7 run to pull out the championship and become the first Orthodox Jewish school to capture a basketball title. Aaron Liberman scored 15 points and had 15 rebounds.
In the 5AA title game, Flintridge Prep defeated Pasadena Muir, 47-44.
