Cy Scott of Bishop is one of the few athletes who can be called a three-sport standout in the sports of football, basketball and baseball.
In football, he was an all-league linebacker for the High Desert League championship team. In basketball, he was the co-league player of the year in helping the Broncos win a league title.
And on Friday, the left-handed Scott struck out 15 and threw a no-hitter in an 11-0 five-inning victory over California City. He also had two hits.
About the only thing he doesn’t do for Bishop is ski.
