America West announced Orange County route.

The Tempe, Ariz.-based airline, one of three granted landing space when the expansion of John Wayne Airport was approved this week, said it will begin three daily flights between Phoenix and Orange County on April 1. It also said it will discontinue flight to Palm Springs, effective March 15, and add flights to other California airports. The airline also plans to add two additional Boeing 737-300 jets in the next months.
