Gandhi to Visit U.S. in June

WASHINGTON — Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi has accepted an invitation from President Reagan to pay an official working visit to the United States and will meet with the President on June 12, the White House announced today. It will be the first official visit to the United States by Gandhi, who was elected in December to succeed his mother, Indira Gandhi, who was assassinated.
