A 43-year-old San Diego woman who had been living for several months in a small utility building crammed with electrical equipment was hospitalized Friday after touching a 25,000-volt transformer. Susan Jacobs was listed in fair condition with burns over 10 percent of her body at UC San Diego Medical Center after being discovered by a San Diego Gas & Electric Co. crew searching for the cause of a power outage. The repair crew reported evidence of candles being burned and a box of personal items in the 8-by-12-foot concrete vault located near Balboa Park, said Elizabeth Abbott, spokeswoman for SDG&E.;
