Richard-Led Pt. Loma Rolls Past L.A. Baptist

Deon Richard scored 28 points and had 9 rebounds to lead Pt. Loma to a 91-61 NAIA District 3 victory over visiting L.A. Baptist Saturday night.
Pt. Loma (8-3 in conference, 23-7 overall) scored 12 of the first 14 points in the second half to pull away. Steve Bruce added 18 points and 9 rebounds for Pt. Loma.
Paul Jungkeit was high scorer for L.A. Baptist with 11 points. L.A. Baptist (1-9. 15-15) committed 32 turnovers in the loss.
