Loyola Marymount Picks On Titan Relievers in 8-5 Win

It was a triumphant return Monday for Loyola Marymount baseball Coach Dave Snow as the Lions beat Cal State Fullerton, 8-5, in a nonconference baseball game at Titan Field.
Snow, a former Fullerton assistant, saw his team rally from a four-run deficit to pull out the win.
Down 5-1 in the seventh inning, the Lions touched relievers Reggie Lambert and Damon Allen for four runs to tie the game at 5. In the eighth inning, the Lions got three more runs off of Allen to provide the winning margin. Allen’s record fell to 1-3.
Titan shortstop Shane Turner ran his hitting streak to 22 games, going 2 for 5 against the Lions. Jef Garcia also went 3 for 4 with three runs scored.
LMU improved its record to 16-17 while Fullerton fell to 18-19-1. The Titans play UCLA at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Titan Field.
