Notre Dame Wins, 23-1, in Softball

Notre Dame’s softball team wasted no time in Wednesday’s game with Corvallis. The Knights scored seven runs in the first inning and eight in the second en route to beating the Scotties, 23-1, at Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park.
Cindy Friedman and Tracey Moll slugged home runs for Notre Dame (5-1), which kept on scoring until the game was called after five innings.
Friedman also pitched and earned her second win.
