Carol Schatz, senior vice president and director of public affairs for Irvine-based Financial Corp. of America, will join the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corp. in Los Angeles as deputy western regional director, reporting to Don Crocker, regional director. The appointment is effective Monday.
Schatz was senior vice president and director of public affairs for the California Savings and Loan League before joining FCA in its Los Angeles office.
Gayle Nelson Bullock has been named president of St. Jude Hospital-Yorba Linda. Bullock had been senior vice president of corporate development for Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Hawthorne, and she is president-elect of the Health Care Executives of Southern California.
Robert J. Fisher has established his own public relations agency, Fisher Business Communications, in Irvine. Fisher had been vice president of public relations at Lenac, Warford, Stone Inc. in Newport Beach.
