Authorities appealed for help in finding a 10-year-old East Los Angeles boy who has been missing since Saturday afternoon. Hector Modesto Martinez left his family’s home in the 700 block of Bonnie Beach Street after being disciplined by his parents, Sheriff’s Deputy Lynda Edmonds said. “The parents notified the East Los Angeles sheriff’s station, but he has not been seen since,” Edmonds said. Hector was described as Latino with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet tall and weighs about 70 pounds. He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, brown shorts and black tennis shoes.
