The remains of Soviet space rockets may have caused the crash of an Air-India Boeing 747 airliner off the coast of Ireland, killing 329 people, the Daily Mail, a British newspaper, reported. It said that British and U.S. investigators believe the plane could have been hit by debris from three Soviet booster rockets that were jettisoned on the same day as the Air-India crash June 23.
