A 73-year-old La Mesa man died Thursday night after being hit by a car at Rosecrans and Fenelon streets in Point Loma, San Diego police said.
Police said Arthur Earl Cox was crossing Rosecrans shortly after 9 p.m. when he was hit by a 1972 Datsun pickup truck driven by Todd Michael Peterson, 17, of San Diego.
Cox was pronounced dead 90 minutes later at UC San Diego Medical Center. Police have not determined who was at fault. Peterson was not charged at the scene.
