The Bahamian government has closed a controversial cancer clinic accused of infecting some of its patients with a blood serum tainted with the deadly virus that causes AIDS. An investigation revealed that operations of the Immunology Researching Center in Freeport posed “a serious health hazard,” Minister of Health Norman Gay said. The clinic is run by experimental zoologist Lawrence Burton, who claims to have developed a secret blood serum that can combat cancer through “immunotherapy”.
