Police are looking for a white pickup truck that was involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 35-year-old Oceanside woman Friday.
Ferny Veronica Welch was attempting to cross the 100 block of Canyon Drive about 5:45 p.m. when she was struck by the truck, said a deputy coroner.
She was taken by ambulance to the Tri-City Hospital, where she died while undergoing surgery.
