A white supremacist group headed by former Ku Klux Klan leader Thomas Metzger donated $100 to Black Muslim militant Louis Farrakhan when the Nation of Islam leader spoke in Ingelwood last month, Metzger said. “We have common respect for Farrakhan, who is doing things for his people,” Metzger said, admitting that he and nine other members of the White American Political Assn. were invited by officials of the Nation of Islam to attend the Farrakhan rally at which the “token donation” of $100 was offered. And Abdul Wali Muhammed, editor of the Nation of Islam’s official newspaper Final Call, said the organization also “did receive some information” from Metzger on “Jewish extremists.”
