A 5-year-old Inglewood boy drowned at a house in Artesia, where he had gone with his father to visit a family friend. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Steven Fitzsimmons said Tycer Campbell died in a backyard swimming pool when his father and their host left the child briefly unattended. The child was pronounced dead on arrival at Long Beach Medical Center. The adults were not identified.
