Private Memorial Rites Held for Orson Welles

A private memorial service for actor-director Orson Welles, who died of heart failure at the age of 70, was held Sunday at a Hollywood mortuary.
The actor’s attorney, Eli Blumenfeld, said the memorial was intended as “strictly a time for the family to say goodby.” Welles, as he had requested, will be buried in Spain, the lawyer said.
