Titan Corp. of Encino to Sell Motor Parts Unit

Titan Corp. of Encino announced it completed an agreement to sell its Indiana General Ferrite Products division to the Allen-Bradley Co. of Milwaukee.
The purchase price was not disclosed, said Rolf Erickson, Titan’s vice president for corporate development.
The ferrite unit, based in Keasbey, N.J., makes parts for large industrial motors. Titan provides testing, design and development services for the government and defense contractors.
Titan was created in May by a merger of Electronic Memories & Magnetics of Encino and Titan Systems of La Jolla.
