Wendell Willkie II Picked for Education Dept. Post

WASHINGTON — President Reagan will nominate Wendell L. Willkie II to be general counsel of the Education Department, the White House announced Wednesday. Willkie, 34, is the grandson of the first Wendell Willkie, the Republican presidential candidate who lost to Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1940.
