UC Santa Barbara Will Honor 2 Alumni

UC Santa Barbara will bestow Distinguished Alumni Awards on two graduates at a homecoming brunch Nov. 16, 10:30 a.m., in the University Center Pub.
Robert Ballard, class of ‘65, and Mary Miss, class of ‘66, will receive awards. Ballard led the expedition that recently found the liner Titanic under 13,000 feet of water in the Atlantic, where the ship sank in 1912. Miss is a sculptor known for her architectural constructions.
