Construction Started on New Office Building

A $1.5-million mixed-use apartment/office building by D & L, a California partnership, is under construction at 1541 7th Street, Santa Monica.
The 1,000-square-foot project is being developed by Fonner & Associates Ltd., on behalf of Dr. David Nellis, a dentist who will occupy the premises, and his partner, Louis Leithold. The architect is Widon/Wein Interarc and Wiltana, the contractor; construction and permanent financing is by BBH Mortgage.
