I have sat as a peer in an office of salesmen dependent upon leads to survive. I know their rough language, use it myself, and have no quarrel with it.
And I respect the abilities of Peter Falk, Joe Mantegna and the group of professionals appearing with them in “Glengarry Glen Ross.”
But if that short, thin exercise I saw on Dec. 11 is deserving of a Pulitzer, I’m Tennessee Williams.
There is more substance, humor, and pathos in a weekly television series.
