Boo to NBC for managing to trivialize a person as charismatic as John Lennon. Carson Productions, with Yoko Ono’s consent and advice, has done this great man a terrible injustice. The whole production was horribly miscast, to say the least. Elton John should sue for defamation of character. And I couldn’t even recognize the Beatles. According to this production, Lennon was totally insignificant when compared to Ono, and we know that’s not true!
