B of A is seeking a buyer for two more units.

BankAmerica, parent of the nation’s largest bank, is discussing the sale of its Panama credit-card processing center and a subsidiary that handles accounts payable for a variety of firms. The bank would confirm only that it has several prospective buyers for the units. However, banking industry sources indicated that New York-based Chase Manhattan has agreed to buy them. In the past year, BankAmerica has spun off a number of subsidiaries and sold major real estate holdings in a broad restructuring.
