Anaheim : Man Dies After Being Thrown From Cycle

A motorcyclist died of injuries sustained when he was ejected from the cycle and struck his head on a block wall, police said Thursday.
Tracy Michael McNeely, 19, of Anaheim died about 8 p.m. Wednesday at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, Lt. Marc Hedgpeth said.
The accident occurred at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Riverdale Avenue and North Bluerock Street, Hedgpeth said.
McNeely was traveling at high speed when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the intersection’s northwest curb, Hedgpeth said.
McNeely, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected and struck his head on a block wall, he said.
An investigation is continuing, Hedgpeth said.
