Morehouse Industries Inc. Reports 2nd-Quarter Loss

Morehouse Industries Inc., a maker of industrial equipment for the chemical process industries, said it lost $24,000 in its second quarter, ended Feb. 28, compared to net income of $10,600 in the prior fiscal year. Sales for the quarter slipped to $1 million from $1.2 million.

In the first six months, ended Feb. 28, Morehouse, headquartered in Fullerton, had a net loss of $55,000, down slightly from the $58,700 it lost in the first half of its last fiscal year. Sales for the period also improved slightly, to $2 million from $1.97 million.
