Long’s Home Run Leads Louisville to 6-2 Win

A four-run fifth inning, sparked by Becky Long’s solo home run, led the Louisville High softball team to a 6-2 San Fernando Valley League win over Notre Dame on Wednesday. It was Long’s third home run in three games.
Later in the inning, Marianella Cruz doubled in two runs and Lou Nagy singled in another for Louisville.
Louisville is 4-2 overall and 3-1 in league.
