U.S. Cites Crisis, Shuts Office in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY — Citing security reasons, the U.S. Embassy on Wednesday temporarily closed the office that handles tourist and work visa requests from those who seek to enter the United States from Mexico.
An embassy official said the action was taken because of the continuing U.S.-Libya crisis.
An embassy official said the visa office will be closed until further notice.
