A 252,000-square-foot building at 601 S. Rockefeller Ave., Ontario--the largest yet constructed in the California Commerce Center--has been sold by Binder Development Co., Beverly Hills, to Sylvester Feichtinger of Los Angeles.
Feichtinger will invest $13.5 million in the facility, including improvements and the purchase of 10 acres of adjoining land. The structure will house Golden West Industries, Deli Products International and Ontario Warehousing International.
It will eventually require 250 employees, according to Ed Tapiro of Deli Products International. With 1,350 acres, the Commerce Center is the largest business park in the Inland Empire and the only Foreign Trade Zone in the Southland with land parcels for sale, a Binder spokesman said. It is adjacent to Ontario International Airport.
