Ex-Special Envoy in Line for 4th Ambassadorship

WASHINGTON — President Reagan said Thursday that he will nominate Harry W. Shlaudeman, formerly his special envoy to Central America and the top specialist on Latin America in the Foreign Service, to be U.S. ambassador to Brazil. Shlaudeman, 60, has served as ambassador to Venezuela, Peru and Argentina.
