The Great Wall of Los Angeles, a 2,000-foot mural lining Tujunga Wash in Van Nuys, is the longest in the world. Painted by 200 local youths and artists every other summer starting in 1976 and ending in 1983, it depicts California’s history from prehistoric times to the 1950s.
