Jerry Hulse’s article on St. Croix (July 20) failed to mention “a special gem of a hotel,” The Pink Fancy, 27 Prince St., Christiansted, phone (809) 773-8460, a charming and intimate (13 rooms) historic spot half a block from the seaplane landing.
The genial and interesting owner/host, Sam Dillon, offers great conversation, free cocktails and breakfast at astonishingly low off-season rates and reasonable on-season rates.
