Amy Irving has been signed to replace Nastassja Kinski in the title role of “Anastasia: The Story of Anna Anderson,” a four-hour miniseries being made for NBC. Kinski dropped out of the production “for family reasons,” the producers said.
Irving has starred in such films as “Yentl” and “Mickey and Maude” and the HBO miniseries “Far Pavilions.” She joins a cast that includes Rex Harrison, Olivia de Havilland, Omar Sharif, Claire Bloom, Jan Niklas and Susan Lucci.
