Must TV Viewers Always Be Subjected to Dodgers?
On August 4, “Monday Night Baseball” showed the Dodgers vs. the Astros. On August 9, NBC’s “Game of the Week” was Dodgers vs. the Reds. On the 11th, we saw, you guessed it, the Dodgers vs. the Astros again.
I understand the regional preference clause, but must we fans be force-fed a sub-.500 team which leads the major leagues in errors? The networks have preempted such teams as the Yankees, Royals, Mets, A’s and Padres. How about it, guys, are the Dodgers really so watchable?
