UCLA Women Start With a 68-58 Victory

Dora Dome had 23 points and 9 rebounds to lead UCLA to a season-opening 68-58 victory over UC Irvine Sunday night in women’s basketball at the Wooden Center.
Natalie Carwford had 17 points and 9 rebounds and Sheryl Hoffman added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Anteaters. Sandra Van Embriqs added 8 points and 14 rebounds for the Bruins, while Sue Mead scored 10 points.
