SIMON’S SAYINGS

I find it a bit curious, all of this criticism engulfing Paul Simon’s “Graceland.” I am not interested here about which side is correct. What is curious to me is the scarcity of criticism concerning another white/black pop phenomenon--the Beastie Boys.
Now there’s been some serious money made by these white boys (sons of well-to-do professionals) imitating the original black sound of the rappers.
I just can’t tell who is exploiting whom these days.
