Four Santa Ana residents have been arrested on suspicion of illegally selling cocaine and PCP, following a three-week undercover investigation, authorities said Saturday.
Police Lt. Mike Mitchell said detectives also confiscated $30,000 in cash, 78 grams of cocaine, 7 1/2 ounces of phenylcyclidine hydrochloride, better known as PCP or “angel dust,” a shotgun and a handgun at the time of the arrests.
Mitchell said a crime task force served a search warrant for narcotics at a house in the 1700 block of West 9th Street at 7:10 a.m. Friday. When detectives found drugs, guns and money in the house, they arrested Laura L. Hurtado, 19, Juan A. Mendoza, 21, Sandra G. Gonzalez, 26 and Isias N. Cendejas, 25. The four were being held at Orange County Jail.
