Davila Will Fight Geronimo March 23

Albert Davila, former world bantamweight champion, has signed to box Edel Geronimo of Manila, P. I., in a 10-round main event, March 23, at the Irvine Marriott.

Ranked as the World Boxing Council’s No. 1 118-pound contender, Davila, of Pomona, has a 52-8 record. Geronimo, holder of the bantamweight title of the Philippines, has a 16-1 record.
