Tour of Capsized Ferry Called Off

DUESSELDORF, West Germany — A travel agency said Friday that it canceled a tour to view the British ferry that capsized off Belgium after it received complaints that the trip was in bad taste.
The Herald of Free Enterprise capsized just outside the Zeebrugge port on March 6, killing at least 134 of the 543 people on board. Salvage operations are still under way.
The Bandrock Travel Agency earlier this week advertised a daylong bus trip to Brugge, Belgium, and said it would include a side trip to nearby Zeebrugge to view the wreck. But the agency withdrew its offer after it received dozens of phone calls and letters from people who complained that the trip was in bad taste.
