Granted, Judith Krantz may not be in the same league as Solzhenitsyn, but the TV adaptation of her wonderful book, “I’ll Take Manhattan,” was a complete travesty. It was like expecting to see a performance of “Masterpiece Theatre” and instead being subjected to eight hours of “Zoobilee Zoo.”
