Police Wednesday asked for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing two savings and loan associations in November.
The suspect is wanted in connection with armed robberies at Gibraltar Savings & Loan in the 200 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue and Coast Federal Savings & Loan in the 100 block of Raymond Avenue, Fullerton Police Officer Linda King said. Police would not disclose the amount of money taken in either robbery.
The suspect in the photograph, which was taken during the Nov. 20 robbery of Coast Federal, is described as a white or Latino male, 23 to 30 years old, 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-11 inches tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a gray zipper-front sweat shirt and blue jeans when the photo was taken.
Anyone having information about the robberies is asked to contact Fullerton Police Detective Rich Lewis at (714) 738-6754 or the FBI office in Santa Ana at (714) 542-8825.
