Interim Hospital Director: Beverly Schulman has been named acting administrator of the South Coast Medical Center, according to board chairman Robert Lawson. Schulman will hold the community-owned hospital’s top post, left vacant by the resignation of Paul McQuade, while the search for a permanent administrator continues, Lawson said. Schulman is a graduate of the University of Colorado and served eight years as vice president of Mercy Medical Center in Denver.
