Woman’s Body Found Near Valencia Freeway

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide investigators were seeking clues to the death of an unidentified woman whose nude body was found Wednesday alongside a Santa Clarita Valley freeway.
A passing motorist sighted the body about 3 p.m. in a culvert just west of the Golden State Freeway and south of the Valencia Boulevard off-ramp in Valencia, about a mile from the Magic Mountain amusement park, said Deputy Steve Lee.
The woman was described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall; about 160 pounds; 25 to 30 years old with blonde hair, the coroner’s office said. There were no signs of violence.
Fosselman said the cause of death and length of time the woman has been dead were under investigation.
