The Rev. Jerry Falwell notes that as a result of the Jim Bakker scandal his Oldtime Gospel Hour has “lost millions, maybe closer to $2 million in revenues the past 30 days.”
What an odd criteria of reference from the leader of an organization whose main function is professed to be the saving of souls, not money.
One wonders what the price of an indulgence would be today.
