The horses in the 113th Kentucky Derby deserve a champion. Jim Murray and his negative copy regarding this and previous Derbies is shameful. To send a writer to Louisville and have him knock everything from the horses’ names to the price of taxi fare is unfair to your readers. The backstretch is loaded with human interest stories.
