Woman Says Lofton Pushed and Shoved Her Up Stairs

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The woman who alleged that James Lofton assaulted her testified Wednesday that he pushed and shoved her up two flights of stairs before forcing her into a sex act.
The 30-year-old Upper Michigan woman took the stand in the first day of testimony in the trial of the former Green Bay Packer wide receiver. He is charged with second-degree sexual assault and is accused of forcing the woman to commit an oral sex act.
Lofton was recently traded to the Raiders, although the deal was said to be contingent on him being able to play in the fall.
The alleged incident took place last Dec. 19 after Lofton and the woman left a Green Bay nightclub.
