The list of 10 best-selling cloth-bound Christian books, compiled by Bookstore Journal, to be released next month, contains three books by Swindoll, all published by Multnomah Press. His newest, “Living Above the Level of Mediocrity” (Word), was published May 23.

One of his books, “Improving Your Serve” (Word), stayed on the Bookstore Journal best-seller list for nearly five years (58 months). Other popular Swindoll titles (and the number of months on the Christian best-selling list) included: “Growing Strong in the Seasons of Life” (42), “Strengthening Your Grip” (32), “Come Before Winter” (21), “Dropping Your Guard” (20) and “Living on the Ragged Edge” (19).
